Open-protocol choice
Works with control panels that support Apollo protocols.
Explore open-protocol fire detection with Alarm Supply.

Apollo Fire Detectors develops open-protocol fire-detection devices, including addressable and conventional detectors, manual call points, interfaces and alarm devices.
Addressable detectors tell your panel which device has activated. Conventional systems identify the affected zone.

Open protocol gives you a choice of panel manufacturer. It does not mean every panel or device works together.
Soteria detectors use CoreProtocol to communicate with compatible fire alarm panels. The range includes smoke, heat and multi-sensor detection.

Analogue addressable detectors for commercial, industrial and specialist environments, used with panels that support Discovery.

Approvals depend on the exact detector family, model and regional variant.
Approvals depend on the exact detector family, model and regional variant.
Apollo describes its addressable systems as open protocol. The control panel must still explicitly support the chosen Apollo protocol and device range.
Some panels support more than one Apollo range, making phased upgrades possible. The combinations available depend on the panel model, protocol and software version.
Approvals vary by model and regional version. Each product’s certificate lists the variants it covers.
A conventional system reports the zone where an alarm starts. An addressable system identifies individual devices. Choose detectors and bases supported by your control panel.
Send the detector part number, base model and control-panel model. Include a photograph of the labels and the panel software version if available.
The choice depends on the fire risk and normal conditions in the room. Steam, dust and cooking fumes can affect smoke detection. Have the system designer select the detector type and settings for the space.
