Kentec
A control platform for the way your building works today – and how it may grow tomorrow.

You can choose Kentec panels for addressable or conventional fire alarms, or for dedicated suppression release. Taktis gives you room to expand larger systems, while Syncro and Sigma offer other control options.

Addressable panels identify individual devices and support programmed alarm actions. Capacity and device compatibility depend on the panel and fitted protocol cards.
Conventional panels identify the zone in alarm. Zone count, circuit capacity and power requirements distinguish the available models.
Sigma extinguishing-control variants manage suppression release, with functions for detection stages, manual release and safety interlocks.
Additional loop cards increase capacity within the limits of the enclosure and power supply.
Networked panels share alarm and fault information across a site.
Graphics and building-management gateways provide access to system information.
Certification varies by platform, protocol and market. A fire-alarm control panel is not automatically an approved extinguishing-release controller.

Syncro ASM is a marine panel range supporting compatible marine-approved detectors.

Kentec Taktis Overview
Not necessarily. Your panel hardware determines which protocol it supports. Changing it can also affect your devices, loop capacity and software, so the design needs to account for those changes.
No. You can choose standard 2–8 loop or larger 2–16 loop enclosure variants. Your power requirements and installed options also affect capacity.
No. You still need the fire panel to control the programmed fire response. A BMS connection gives you only the monitoring and control functions supported by that interface.
Select a panel specifically intended for extinguishing control and the proposed release equipment. A general fire alarm panel should not be assumed to provide the required release functions.
Provide the panel family, board part number, protocol option and software version. Include photographs of the board label and enclosure label.
Only if the replacement panel supports their exact protocol and models. Check bases, isolators, loop loading and software support as part of the replacement design.
We can help with panel selection, detector compatibility and future expansion.
