Lens colour and light output affect how far a beacon can be seen.
Sounder tone and volume determine how clearly an alarm stands out from background noise.
Hazardous-area ratings identify the gas or dust environments and temperatures a device is designed for.
The D1xB2X05 EN 54-23 / MED option is the 24 V DC A version with a red or clear lens. Other versions carry different approvals.

The GNExCP7-PB-I call point provides intrinsically safe manual activation; its published specification includes SIL 2 compliance.

E2S Warning Signals Introduction English
You can use this guide to understand selected fields in a D1xB2X05 part number. If you have a different family or an older code, send it to us and we can help you identify it.
No. A red lens doesn’t tell you whether a beacon has the fire-alarm approval or coverage you need. You’ll need a model and configuration listed for that use.
No. Your device’s marked voltage and electrical load, including its starting current, need to match the circuit. We can help you find the right voltage variant.
Provide the background noise, listening distance, alarm tone, power supply and installation location. The maximum sound rating alone does not show whether people will hear it throughout the area.
Choose by the area classification and the exact certificate, including gas or dust group, temperature and ambient limits. An explosion-protection marking does not make a device suitable for every location.
Send a clear photograph of the complete nameplate, part number, supply voltage and cable entries. Include the required tone or beacon colour and the installation environment.
Share the location classification, supply voltage and coverage requirement.
