Monitor detection and control compatible extinguishing systems in machinery spaces and compact compartments.
N2KB develops fire detection and extinguishing controls in the Netherlands. NANO combines local detection, supervised release circuits and operator controls in a compact panel. It is designed for electrically activated aerosol generators and supported solenoid-operated systems. Its role is local extinguishing control; a vessel-wide addressable fire alarm remains a separate design decision.

Identify the generator or solenoid, required activation characteristics and terminal-board type. Compatibility must be checked for the complete release circuit.
NANO supports configured manual and automatic release arrangements. The permitted mode depends on the application, approved design and vessel requirements.
DNV certificate TAA000037H names NANO/MAR/PANEL and NANO/MAR/ETB. Installations intended to meet MSC.1/Circ.1270 must also satisfy its installation and performance requirements.
Certificate TAA000037H is published as valid until 21 December 2027. Verify its current status and the exact system configuration for the vessel. Component approval does not establish acceptance of the complete extinguishing installation.

NANO is a compact detection and extinguishing-release controller for protected spaces. Select the main vessel fire alarm separately when the project requires addressable point identification or a ship-wide panel network.
The manufacturer describes electrically activated modular aerosol generators and supported solenoid-operated suppression systems. Confirm activation current, circuit loading, terminal boards and the approved equipment combination.
The panel supports configured manual and automatic arrangements. The manufacturer settings alone do not determine whether automatic release is permitted for a particular vessel or occupied space.
The published certificate names NANO/MAR/PANEL and NANO/MAR/ETB as a control system for fire extinguishing. Installation and performance requirements still apply to the completed system.
A replacement requires review of the generators or valves, detectors, circuits, power supplies, release logic and approval documents. Matching the cabinet size is not sufficient.
PYRALIS is a separate thermal activation module developed with Fireqle. It converts heat into electrical energy to activate compatible aerosol units without an external power supply. It is not a substitute for every NANO control function.
We can help plan circuit checks, detection and release sequences, interfaces and the required records. Confirm the vessel location and service scope with our team.
Send the compartment layout, agent or generator models, detection arrangement, required release mode, power details and flag or class requirements.
Send the full part number and clear photographs of the equipment label. Include the equipment it connects to and describe any changes to the installation. This helps distinguish versions that look alike.
Include the model or specification, quantity, delivery country and required date. Attach any required certificates or drawings so the proposed item can be checked before you order.
Send the protected-space drawings, extinguishing equipment list, vessel class requirements and delivery location. We will help define the control and commissioning scope.
